Other Ranks Shoulder Title 1896-1945 Territorial Battalions.

The usual Y&L shoulder title was also used by the Hallamshire Territorial Battalion but with the addition of a single letter 'T' also made of gilding metal. The Y&L and 'T' were not joined together and the 'T' was slightly larger than the Y&L.

Photographic evidence shows this title in use by the Hallamshires prior to, and during, WW2.

This particular example belonged to 4747461 Pte Victor Ernest Green of the Hallamshire Battalion.
