65th of Foot Shoulder Belt Plate worn 1830 to 1855

The plate is a rectangular fire gilt back upon which is a silver Tiger standing on a field.  

Above the Tiger is the battle honour ‘India’ surmounted by a crown, all in silver.  Below the Tiger is the battle honour ‘Arabia’ on below it, the numerals ‘65’ again, all in silver.
