2nd Volunteer Battalion Officers Badge 1897 to 1908

Another example of an officers second pattern Tiger and Rose badge to this battalion made of silver.  This one has a gilt centre to the rose that has been pinned through to the back of the badge.

This badge is unusual in that it has blades (similar to those on OSD badges) as a method of fixing to the headdress. This is an extremely rare badge.
