2nd Volunteer Battalion Officers Service Dress Badge 1902 to 1908

2nd Volunteer Battalion Officers Service Dress (OSD) badge in cast bronze with blade fixings. 

OSD badges came into use from 1902 when Service Dress was introduced into the British Army. As the 2nd VB changed its title to the 5th Bn York and Lancaster Regt in 1908 upon formation of the Territorial Force, this badge was in use for a very short period of time.

This is an extremely rare badge.
