Rotherham And District Volunteer Defence Corps 1915 to 1916

This badge was used for just a short period of time and is a very scarce badge.  It is made of gilding metal and is a laurel wreath surmounted by an Imperial Crown.  

Within the wreath is a circlet with the words ‘Rotherham and District Volunteer’ and below this a scroll with the words ‘Defence Corps’. Within the circlet are the Borough Arms of Rotherham.

This badge is on hexagonal loops.
