Volunteer Battalion at Camp

Although clearly members of a volunteer battalion of the York and Lancaster Regiment, it is not known which one as the cloth badges show the 'Y&L' and there appears to be no number worn below the Y&L badge.

The badge would have been of red material with white lettering.
