Gaunt Button Brooch WW1

This brooch is made form a normal regimental button that has been fixed to a laurel wreath and has been gilded. The rear of the button has the makers name JR Gaunt and the words Pat Appd For. 

The bar has the details Rd651017 which indicates the registered design and a patent date of 1916
