4th Administrative Battalion Yorkshire, West Riding Volunteer Corps OR’s Helmet Plate 1878-1880

The helmet plate is a standard 8 pointed star made of white metal with a laurel wreath surmounted by a Queen Victoria Crown that displaces the top point of the star.

Within a strap is a stringed bugle horn and around the strap are the words ‘4th A.B. West York Rifle Vols’.
