65th of Foot Officers Albert Shako Plate 1844 to 1855
On a gilt star and crown plate, is a laurel wreath with a circlet inscribed ‘2D YORK NORTH RIDING’. In the centre of the circlet is a silver background with a silver number ‘65’. On the left centre ray of the star is the word ‘INDIA’ and on the right centre ray of the star is the word ‘ARABIA’. Below the laurel wreath is a Tiger in silver.
