84th of Foot Officers Last Shako Plate 1869 to 1878

A gilt laurel wreath surmounted by a Coronet.  In the centre of the wreath is the Garter with the motto ‘Honi soit qui mal y pense’ and the number 84 cut out of a solid centre.  

This is the same plate as the previous 1869-78 Shako plate but this time, without a silver rose below the Garter.
